SRM Integration

Following adoption of the TESI portal SRM solution, an Italian motorcycle company based in Bologna requested that the solution be integrated with its own SAP management system.

Goal

The aim of the project was to enable integration of all flows from/to SAP and the SRM portal. The flows specifically concerned supplier and product master data, delivery plans, schedules, price lists, inbound deliveries, receipt of goods.

Solution

The project made it possible to integrate SAP with the SRM vendor collaboration system, optimising the timing of data/flow exchanges with suppliers and enabling digitalisation of documents.

A further benefit is the ability to quickly and immediately check all the flows and data passing between the two systems, thanks to the development of a specific dashboard. This provides evidence, in real time, of the outcome of data flow transmissions, thus enabling corrective action to be taken in the event of problems, and checks and analyses to be performed on previous transmissions.
