07 Jun AgID guidelines: extension to 1 January 2022

The AgID – Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale (Agency for Digital Italy) has postponed to 1 January 2022 the start of the exclusive and mandatory use of the new Guidelines on systems for the formation, management and storage of electronic documents. The postponement (Executive Determination no. 371 – 18/5/21), extended the compliance period initially due to expire on 7 June 2021, giving operators in the sector and document holders more time to comply.

AgID has also introduced a number of changes to the Guidelines themselves, which are set out in a summary document.
